Diagnostic Services

Digital x-ray - The benefits from digital radiology are enormous. It can make a radiological facility or department filmless. The referring physician can view the requested image on a desktop or a personal computer and often report in just a few minutes after the examination was performed. The images are no longer held in a single location; but can be seen simultaneously by physicians who are kilometres apart. In addition, the patient can have the x ray images on a compact disk to take to another physician or hospital.

Electrocardioram(ECG):
The electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is a diagnostic tool that is routinely used to assess the electrical and muscular functions of the heart. While it is a relatively simple test to perform, the interpretation of the ECG tracing requires significant amounts of training. Numerous textbooks are devoted to the subject.

Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT):
is a complete evaluation of the respiratory system including patient history, physical examinations, chest x-ray examinations, arterial blood gas analysis, and tests of pulmonary function. The primary purpose of pulmonary function testing is to identify the severity of pulmonary impairment.[1] Pulmonary function testing has diagnostic and therapeutic roles and helps clinicians answer some general questions about patients with lung disease.

Pathology: Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids, and whole bodies (autopsies).

Pathology also encompasses the related scientific study of disease processes, called general pathology.

Medical pathology is divided into two main branches, anatomical pathology and clinical pathology.

Serology:Serology is the scientific study of blood serum and other bodily fluids. In practice, the term usually refers to the diagnostic identification of antibodies in the serum.Such antibodies are typically formed in response to an infection.

Bio-Chemical:Biochemical testing looks at the levels of specific substances and enzymes that are produced by chemical reactions in the body. Metabolic disorders are often the result of a missing or non-functional enzyme. When an enzyme is missing, greatly reduced in quantity, or is not working properly, the body cannot perform its usual chemical reactions.

Harmonal assays:Many hormones can be measured (assayed) in the blood, to give an indication of metabolic processes and conditions, or “hormone imbalance”. These include male and female sex hormones (oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone) and hormones secreted by other glands such as parathyroid and adrenal glands.

Ultra Sound Scanning: An ultrasound scan is a painless test that uses sound waves to create images of organs and structures inside your body. It is a very commonly used test. As it uses sound waves and not radiation, it is thought to be harmless.

OPG DIGITAL (Dental X-rays):
An Orthopantomogram (OPG) or Dental PanoramicRadiograph (DPR), also known as a"panorex", is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. It shows a two-dimensional view of a half-circle from ear to ear. An OPG relies on
tomography i.e. images of specific radiographic planes are taken to make up the larger panoramic image.

Portable X-rays facilities:
Professional Portable X-Ray (PPX) is the pioneer and industry-leader in mobile diagnostic imaging testing. Individuals in need of an x-ray are typically takento a hospital or clinic for the exam. With PPX, the exam is taken to the individual…wherever they may reside.
